Outra das formações integrada pelo guitarrista Gus G. (Firewind, Nightrage), este Dream Evil traz um Power Metal bem consistente. É agressivo em alguns momentos, maneiro e até com um certo ‘quê’ Hard Rock em outros.

Os vocais firmes de Isfeldt acompanham os riffs matadores - como sempre - de Gus G., podendo levar ao delírio os apreciadores do estilo que gostam de ver suas possibilidades levadas ao extremo. O alcance tremendo de Isfeldt junta-se a um timbre límpido quando necessário, rasgado quando recomendável e que mostra uma segurança e precisão ímpares. Logo de cara, sabemos que o cara vai dar conta do recado sem problemas, qualquer que seja a tendência de cada faixa do álbum.

Não podemos deixar de acrescentar, claro, que os demais músicos também dão conta do recado com folgas, Nordström na outra guitarra matadora, Stalfors e Shaw na cozinha pra lá de eficaz nos dogmas do Power.

The Book Of Heavy Metal tem várias faixas candidatas a hinos do estilo, a começar pela arrebatadora faixa-título, marcante ao extremo, magistralmente construída e executada. Os vocais diferenciados, semi-brutais, aplicados no refrão, são uma brilhante sacada, que deixou a música interessantíssima e extrapolou os limites usuais do gênero. Outros grandes momentos: “Crusaders", "Anthem”, “Tired”, “M.O.M.” e “Unbreakable Chain” (a boa e inevitável balada do álbum).

O Dream Evil nos apresenta aqui seu melhor trabalho até agora, com uma sucessão de temas fortes, sem aquele lance de altos e baixo. Assim, é colocar a bolacha pra rodar e ouvir as doze ótimas composições na seqüência, no volume máximo e sem se preocupar em manter a tecla de avanço do cd-player ao alcance dos dedos.

Caravellus é uma banda Brasileira (Pernambuco - Recife) de Progressivo/Melódic Power Metal.

Bem esse album é super conceituadíssimo na frança, chegou ao 5 Luga nas paradas por lá.
A vocalista é nada mais nada menos que a Paula, Vei ela é monstruosa nos vocais, canta muitooo... O tecladista é outro louco, toca Muitooo! Bem Atualmente a banda não conta mais com a Paula nos vocais e sim com o brother Raphael Dantas(Ex - Preatcher,Divinuns Imperium), que tb é outro monstinho nos vocais. (Para vcs terem uma ideia ele está na Final do concurso cante na Sollspells). Bem o som é bem parecido com um Symphony X da vida, afinal é uma das principais influências deles.

Manowar é uma banda norte-americana de heavy metal, formada em 1980, que tem como líderes o baixista Joey DeMaio e o vocalista Eric Adams.

História.

A banda surgiu em 1980, quando o baixista Joey DeMaio, que fazia um projeto com o vocalista Ronnie James Dio, perdeu a parceria do mesmo, pois Dio fora chamado para atuar como vocalista da banda Black Sabbath, e assim DeMaio correu em busca de uma nova formação. O Manowar lançou o seu primeiro e clássico álbum Battle Hymns em 1982. A formação na época consistia em Eric Adams (vocal), Joey DeMaio (baixo) - ambos no grupo até hoje - além de Ross The Boss (guitarra, que permaneceu até o lançamento de Kings of Metal, 1988) e Donnie Hanzik (bateria, que só gravou o primeiro álbum). Scott Columbus assumiu as baquetas e permanece até hoje, embora não tenha gravado o disco The Triumph of Steel (gravado por Kenny Earl “Rhino” Edwards). O álbum mais atual dos Manowar é Gods Of War (2007).

A característica marcante da banda, além de sua polêmica auto-promoção é seu discurso em prol do verdadeiro heavy metal, sua temática lírica que mistura temas como mitologia nórdica, mulheres e velocidade, e a proclamação de que os fãs do Manowar são os melhores e mais dedicados fãs do mundo. Musicalmente, a banda executa o estilo tradicional de heavy metal, com influências de power metal. O Manowar detém ainda o seu nome inscrito no Guiness Book of Records como o grupo que conseguiu atingir o som mais alto jamais tocado em palco (sendo o mesmo comparado ao som emitido pela turbina de um Boeing na altura de levantar voo).

Recentemente o grupo lançou o dvd The Day the Earth Shook - The Absolute Power em 2006, e em 2007 lançou o Live Kavarna, que contem mais de tres horas de show, o mesmo adentrou ao Guiness Book. Recentemente a banda quebrou seu próprio recorde, em um show que durou cinco horas e um minuto.

A banda já vendeu mais de 9 milhões de álbuns em todo o mundo.
